My friends over at Geekscape came to me to help update their website and move the site over to a new content management system. I designed updated navigation, branding treatments and WordPress templates. Produced all HTML, CSS, JS and WP templates. Setup and integrated community forum software. Helped facilitate server hosting and data migration.

Aaryn West Website

A collaboration with my wife, surface designer Aaryn Nutter, for her Aaryn West Surface Design Studio. Together we spec’d and wire-framed a WordPress based portfolio and blog, with a forum based private viewing system. I then went on to detail the design and custom build the site’s frontend.

Ranker Character Illustration

After a year at Ranker I’ve had the pleasure of working on a number of great web apps, it’s the most advanced listing engine out there, which with any luck will become a destination. When the opportunity came along to have a shot at re-imagining the mascot, Ranky, it was definitely time to have some fun. The team at Ranker come up with a number of great poses and situations for the little guy to be in.

Deadly Furry Cute Series Three

Series Three marked a change in illustration style from simple low-fi shapes to more detailed, deeper representations. With this series I’ve also begun to cram more on the page allowing for more detail and parts.

Williams Institute Website

A collaboration of team members from the Taproot Foundation, a non-profit that helps other non-profits, and the Williams Institute. Working from a brief, I designed and built a WordPress based content site to replace the institutes aging static site.

Storyimp Website and User Experience Design

After completing the Storyimp brand and character design, the team asked me to design their user experience, workflows, interface design and page layout.

Each page had to be designed around advertisement placing and existing functionality. All code was built to reduce server calls and load times. Wizards, tools and processes we’re simplified, shortened and feedback increased.
